One day I got a call because the General in charge of the ATC wanted me to play golf with the ACT CSM. Hey, when the General sends word to join him for a round of golf I knew what I had to do.  I got a hair cut. I was Army back in the day but I was twice stationed on an Air Force Base. That was a round of golf I will never forget. Lackland was having war games that day. The sound effects were going off loud, planes flying low over the course, smoke bombs, the works. One of the most interesting rounds of golf ever. Putting was never a problem after that.
